...Pearl team moved on to the garage/studio conversion. This was such an epic job I can't even begin to describe!!! As we began digging, we found that the old garage unit (built in 1911) was missing a foundation! Because of city regulations, we couldn't move any of the existing walls in the remodel, so Izhak and his amazing team led by the foreman Cesar actually dug under the existing structure and installed a cement foundation!!! This was an epic undertaking and we followed the city codes very closely. Everything was done to code and done amazingly well! The results really speak for themselves...

I took 3 bids for our garage remodel. Pearl Remodeling was by far the fairest bid and the most knowledgeable contractor. Ben Oded was my project manager. Unlike one of the other contractors who completely disregarded my ideas, Ben listened to my ideas and helped me realize them. The project ran into some delays as Ben worked to clear through permitting challenges. Thank goodness that Ben was so diligent in resolving those challenges. Ben and I were in constant contact from the beginning of the year until mid-July, when the job was completed (and I do mean constant communication, daily). The consistent communication was also very appreciated. At the end of the day, I felt I could trust Ben and that is a truly rare thing. I now have an great looking new garage work space with an attic that has a TON of storage. The outside of the garage looks great too! The polished concrete floor is pretty cool too! If you need help with a garage remodel, give these guys a call -- they are good.

Very happy client here! We have a 600 sq. ft. detached garage that we had hoped to turn into a home gym/office/storage space. We also wanted to add a French Door out of the guest bedroom and a new pedestrian door from another bedroom.

After being discouraged with the exorbitant quotes from 3 design/build firms, my husband found Pearl Modeling and we decided to give it one more try. Their representative, Gal, first impressed us with his friendly energy and straightforward way of communication. We were blown away by the reasonable price he quoted us, and were excited to get started. He understood exactly what we were looking for and immediately helped us to come up with a comprehensive plan. We felt comfortable to add any input and details we wanted in addition to his expert advise on how to design the space. Throughout the process, Gal was in constant communication with us so we always knew when to expect the crew at our house and he answered any questions we had along the way (a great change from a previous contractor who rarely got back to us and ended up disappearing from a job). Our payment plan was also very clearly spelled out from the beginning. The crew members and project leader, Santiago, were all very friendly and professional whenever I had a question for them. And their work was expertly done and it looks like this is what our house should have looked like all along! We were very pleased that the budget didn't go up except for a couple of additional cosmetic changes we made and they even threw in a couple of "bonus" add-ons that they didn't charge us for.

I contacted Pearl to help with my garage conversion. I wanted to build a one bedroom, one bathroom, living room and a small kitchen. I was working with Ori, the project manager. He was great. I had a lot of questions and he answered each question. He was very patient and professional. They helped with the architectural drawings and getting the necessary permits from the city. Also, there was a DWP easement on my property and they worked with DWP to get that approval.
